The firm has significantly expanded its Public Sector Procurement Consulting practice with the addition of Elise Lancaster. Elise’s experience in both state and federal procurement helps Scofes & Associates give clients better insight into the government contracting process. Having served as Purchasing Director for the State of Michigan, and as a state and federal government contracting consultant to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, particularly in the area of federal defense, Elise’s working knowledge of the process brings a unique perspective to the firm’s clients.
Navigating the Public Procurement Process
Our team understands government contracting rules, regulations, practices and trends. In addition to relationship building with state and federal agency executives and program personnel, we offer clients a full spectrum of public procurement services from help in understanding how to market to government agencies, how to find government contract opportunities, and how to best prepare for and navigate the bid process to reviewing and helping craft responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), monitoring the bid evaluation and award process, assisting with bid debriefings and, if necessary, initiating and guiding clients through the award recommendation protest process. Scofes & Associates’ business partnership with JLWA has fostered opportunities for JLWA in state and local governments across the country.
